Only place I'll trust with my car. Very friendly and very transparent with everything. I saw a part I could get elsewhere for cheaper, they allowed me to order it directly to them so I could save a few hundred dollars.

Been living in our Sprinter full time traveling 140K miles all over North America for the last 3 years. Vehicle maintenance is definitely the worst part of being a full-timer. Started hearing some grumbling in the front end while driving through Ontario. Dropped into upstate New York and called a dealer in Albany who said they couldnβt look at it for 2 weeks. Drove to Maine while the situation was obviously getting worse. Pulled into BA&TC on a Friday afternoon and spoke with Steven. He said they couldnβt look at it then, so we made an appointment for Monday morning β off to Moosehead Lake with fingers crossed. On Monday morning, their diagnostic revealed both front bearings gone and a brake job was needed all the way around. Parts arrived Wednesday afternoon as promised and they had us out Thursday afternoon. 2 stand-out things I also want to mention. They allowed us to store our boat in the yard while we waited for the parts, and when they performed the alignment (per Mercedes specs) they test drove it and determined there was too much βtoeβ so they improvised. The vehicle drives/tracks better and quieter than it ever has in the past. These guys really know what they are doing!

Really glad I found this shop. I first went to a different mechanic for a simple tire swap and was hit with a long list of supposed major issues β they told me my rocker panels and undercarriage were rusted through, said I needed a full exhaust replacement from the manifold back, and even suggested I start car shopping because it βwouldnβt pass inspection.β The kicker? I wasnβt even there for an inspection. That didnβt sit right with me, so I came here for a second opinion β and the difference was night and day. The team here was upfront, respectful, and didnβt try to upsell me on anything I didnβt actually need. They gave the car an honest assessment, replaced what truly needed fixing (some rusted clamps and exhaust work), and had everything wrapped up β including a legit inspection β the same day. They even lowered the quote slightly when one part ended up not needing to be replaced. Final cost? Under $500. Thatβs more than fair. It did take a bit to get in, but it was 100% worth the wait. This is the kind of place that values your time and money. Iβll definitely be coming back.

Traveling through living the full time Rv life in Maine I recently had the privilege of bringing my 2022 3500 Ram in to find a fuel leak on one of my fuel lines. There was a cancellation in the next 2 days and they just had a few extra minute to assist the problem later that day and they had it fixed in less that 30 minutes. Service & professionalism was above, and beyond than what I expected. Thank you for being there for when I needed help you guys rock!

I recently had the privilege of experiencing the stellar service provided by Bangor Truck and Auto. The level of professionalism and integrity displayed by this establishment was truly commendable. From my first interaction, their honesty was evident, offering transparency that is often hard to come by in this industry. What struck me most was the accommodation they extended when they allowed me to drop off my truck without a scheduled appointment. Not only did they accept my vehicle, but they also took advantage of a cancellation to service it sooner than initially anticipated. This act of going above and beyond in their service was not only time-saving but also proved the client-focused ethos that is clearly ingrained in their operations. In all, the level of assistance provided by Bangor Truck and Auto was exceptional. Their team managed to make an often stressful process reassuringly smooth and efficient. I would recommend this business without a second thought for anyone seeking a trustworthy and reliable auto service provider. Itβs not just about getting the job done for them; they genuinely care about their customers, which in my opinion, sets them apart in the automotive
